The high-voltage MLCCs are specially designed for compact power supplies, modems, and lighting circuits, offering reliable performance even at high voltages.
They are available in case sizes from 0805 to 2225 and cover DC voltage ratings from 500 V to 6 kV. Dielectrics NP0 and X7R are available with a capacitance range from 10 pF to 0.47 µF. For additional safety, Soft Polyterm® terminations can be ordered to relieve voltage stress (consultation with manufacturing is recommended).

Note: To prevent external arcing, a surface coating of capacitors may be required. Additionally, a solder resist mask should not be applied under the capacitors.
